Alongside being a Bridge2 Chapter Leader, I'm a lead volunteer at Jacob's Heart, a pediatric cancer support nonprofit, and the Blood Services Coordinator for the Silicon Valley chapter of the Red Cross. I'm hoping to transfer to UC Berkeley or UCLA.

I'm a student at Santa Monica College planning to transfer to UCLA to study pre-law and economics. I'm involved in DECA, where I've developed skills in leadership, public speaking, and business strategy, and I work part-time tutoring kids in math and reading at Kumon. Alongside wanting to advocate for community college students, I would love to become a physician working to deal with underserved communities. Hi I'm Jonas Loening, a french-american citizen student who has spent time living in several countries around the world, including Tanzania, South Korea, and France. I returned to the US after much back and forth at the beginning of my junior year of high school. Outside of academics I like reading, watching movies, playing football (soccer), and hanging out with friends. I'm excited to make the most of my time at NOVA by getting involved with as many opportunities as possible. In the future I plan on studying economics.
